Drink sizes, as well as portion sizes seem to be getting bigger and bigger, as are our waistlines… I was sent this truly scary infographic about how much sugar the average person drinks per day. I don’t drink a lot, if any soda pop, but there sure are some scary numbers there. It seems that people really should start waking up and shrink the amount of junk they are consuming. The companies that make snacks and soda are not looking out for your health, so maybe it’s time you start…
Some cities are now thinking about banning the larger sizes of cups to help with the obesity epidemic, but ultimately, as we have learned from dealings with Monsanto (evil bastards) and us learning from the government that yes, pizza is a vegetable, we are truly responsible for ourselves, and no one will solve this problem for us but ourselves. And maybe the Grim Reaper… The following infographic examines some of the facts and figures that go along with soda consumption, and might make you think twice before you pop the tab on that can of cola. The stats are for the US, but it may surprise you how much it applies to the rest of the world, especially the younger generations.
