Do you remember all the phases of the moon?  Do you care?  Here is a gentle reminder that you should know the moon phases,  explained using Oreo cookies.

I, being a devoted and loving husband, have also found Oreos to be effective with other certain monthly cycles…

After looking at this visual explanation, I got to thinking about if there was a “moon diet”.  Some sort of general foods we should be eating at the different phases of the moon’s cycles.  Guess what…  There is!  The moon diet is essentially a 24-hour juice fast which involves the use of a lunar calendar. By aligning the day of the new moon with an absence of solid foods and following a few other suggestions during each of the lunar cycles, the moon diet is believed to boost an individual’s ability to quickly lose weight.

Here are some interesting explanations on why you should/ shouldn’t be eating certain foods during the lunar cycle.  Sorry, I didn’t see Oreos included in any of these…
