I am a firm believer in the sandwich. If you were to ask a bunch of gourmet chefs what their favorite food was, many would exult praises to one form or another of the magical sandwich. Sandwiches are like unicorns. They are the perfect food. So why in the hell is this the first I am hearing of someone making a pie out of them?
James, you may say, Now that this is a pie, it is no longer a sandwich. It is now a pie, using sandwich ingredients. Shut up. It still looks fricken awesome. This one’s made with half a roast ham, half a roast turkey, a tub of sour cream, a tub of cream cheese, and a full pound of cheddar and Swiss cheeses, all stuffed inside a King’s Hawaiian original round bread loaf. I would happily eat sandwich pie.
