The cronut craze is still in effect, and there are now several recipes out there so you can try to make them at home. The cronut, if you haven’t heard, is a New York pastry phenom that spread like wildfire. They are a delicious and incredibly unhealthy bastard child of a doughnut and a croissant. My friend said it best; “It’s an effing Honey Kruler you morons!”
Still, if you haven’t had one, here’s your chance. The recipe created by the googly gooeys (yes, that is a name) was adapted from Chef Marc Chalopin of the Enderun Colleges.
