Bling Stilton: There be gold in that cheese!

It is the golden age in cheese, and this year you two can indulge in excess with this seriously over the top cheese.  The rich and famous have a new after dinner luxury to add to their Christmas menu this year… a British cheese made of real gold.

Here’s what the company has to say about it:
Long Clawson Stilton Gold is made from premium white Stilton, and is  shot-through with a combination of real edible gold leaf, and real gold-Cinnamon Schapps .

At £60.87 per 100g slice, or £608 a kilo… that’s around $95 for about 3.5 ounces!  Clawson Stilton Gold is the world’s most expensive Stilton and the most expensive cheese of any kind made in the UK.

It is in short supply as only a limited amount will be made for the run up to the Festive Season.  Get your stinky gold cheese here!
