What better way to depict the flag of a nation than by the food said nation eats.  This series of amazing foodtography depicts the flags of 18 countries made entirely with food commonly associated with them.  Advertising agency WHYBINTBWA designed these for the Sydney International Food Festival.

A friend recently brought this story back to my attention, and as I had just finished writing an ESL textbook unit about English speaking countries (and dealing with hella flags) I felt bringing this food art back to light apropos…
