WTF? Bread gloves: Totally awesome, totally useless, totally fake?

So… WTF?  Bread gloves.  This image has been floating around (again) recently.  Gloves you can wear, and eat.  This pic circulated in 2010, and it seems to be back again, so I figured it definitely be a foododddity.  I can’t seem to find where it originated… it all seems to be a blog loop… but hey, doesn’t the dude look really happy eating his own hands?
