The science of beer goggles [Infographic]

Men and women alike will sometimes find themselves in interesting places and situations after having a few drinks, mainly because of beer goggles.  What are beer goggles?  Basically, they are invisible accessories worn after drinking enough to have altered your perception enough to do things (or people) you wouldn’t normally do.  If you would like to get yourself a pair of beer goggles, you can find them here.

Scientists have long linked symmetry to attraction, and after drinking even a few drinks, it becomes more difficult to distinguish what is symmetrical.  Let us also not forget the complete and utter lack of inhibition that a few shots of tequila creates.  This infographic from visual.ly has little scientific merit, is a little sexist, but is somewhat entertaining, and may spark some memories you have repressed from the last time you wore beer goggles.
