How to make Pumpkin Vodka

Fall is all about pumpkins.  You can eat them, carve them, or even make kegs or coolers out of them.  So why not make pumpkin vodka?  Here’s a great recipe to try out at home.  If you don’t want to make it you can always buy some from Pinnacle Vodka.

Homemade Pumpkin Vodka

• 1 bottle of  vodka
• 2-3 cinnamon sticks
• 1 cup Pinnacle Whipped Cream Vodka.  You could also use Vanilla vodka or White Creme de Cacao in a pinch
• 1 vanilla bean.  You could also use 1-2 tbsps of vanilla extract
• Whole nutmeg, crushed
• 4 whole cloves
• Pumpkin, chopped into cubes (make sure to gut them first.  I skinned mine as well and only used the meat).  Use your judgment, as pumpkins vary in size.  you want a lot, as this is where some of the flavour is coming from, but don’t go crazy…

Combine and mix all the ingredients. Seal and let sit for a week.  Enjoy with some really spooky people.  Next, we’ll be making a Pumpkin Martini!
