Onlineassociatesdegree?! Yeah, it’s sourced, but it’s full of half-truths and exaggerations. Like, there is absolutely no proof whatsoever that pink slime is harmful — it’s just had a distasteful label slapped on it and has been exploited by ideologues, marketers, and the media for hysterics value. This is bigger garbage than any batch of pink slime.

There’s lies, damn lies, and statistics. The whole part about heart disease I think missed the fact that most of those people who die from it not only eat red meat, but smoke, don’t exercise and live a generally unhealthy lifestyle. What gets me is the actual processing food undergoes, and how it can be hidden within well phrased wording. I agree that pink slime may not be harmful, but I can’t see it being all that healthy either. I’ve been living in Asia for the last few months and you’d be amazed at the food here. FRESH. I think people are just getting tired of getting screwed in general, and pink slime is a dramatic enough topic to bitch about. I’d rather grab pitchforks and go after Monsanto, personally…
